Why I love working at

The Dixon Group

"My role is pretty unique. I'm probably one of four people in the entire company that work in this position. I work in manufacturing, in operations, and my position is called LEAN Facilitator.  I'm responsible for the process improvement in the plant which means that my job is to increase the ratio of value to non-value and to eliminate waste in our overall value stream from the start of the job all the way down to the finish.

Developing people is kind of the heart of LEAN manufacturing because the idea is that if you develop people, they give you more than just their hands; they give you their heart. Dixon is a 100-year-old company, and in order to be here another 100 years, they truly believe that they have to invest in their people.

I love what I do. "

George Best, Communications Specialist

I've always been drawn especially to advertising - making connections with people. And in my capacity at Dixon Valve, I pride myself in knowing what customers want before they know it.

Rhonda Moser,

CNC Machinist

I run automated equipment. If there is nobody to run the machines, they can't sell the product. I have to keep the machines fed, I have to do all the inspections and all the measuring, that's me.

Don Seago II,

My team and I machine the best product prototypes, customer parts, production part fixturing solutions and build machines. I thrive on perfection and love what I do each day.
